Fishing: fishing is free at Brookdale's lake, to acquire the equipment you have to go to the fitness center located next to the pool.

Golfing: Golfing is also free but you must travel to Caesars Pocono Resorts; Pocono Palace, where they have a 9 hole regulation golf course. The ride is only a 20 minute drive.
